i made this kat for my mom's birthday. for some reason i have had an urge to make a doll, and this was a good time to see it through. i don't believe i've ever made one before but i had a feeling if i just used my best judgment, it would turn out at least ok. i'm happy with it and i think my mom is going to love it! i didn't give him a name yet, i'm going to leave that up to my mom. but i vote for gene since i was watching gene wilder in young frankenstein while i made it.

Gene is a good call. I know your mom will love it. I want one someday too! Ha ha. ;)
it took me about 12 straight hours to hand sew that guy. i have some left over fabric, i may make something else. he is filled with little plastic beads. i realized later i should have filled him with lavender so he would smell pretty. oh well.
