shred it and forget it



...while i believe it is possible that there is a conceptual artist working at frye's electronics, it's more probable that this is a collaboration betwixt they: average, disgruntled worker given the task of shredding some paper for the shredder display and i: bored photographer who finds beauty in the mundane.
Regardless, i can see that some thought went into these compositions because they are quite lovely. the simple fact that some are full, some are not...i think it means something. something about love? patriotism? hmm, i'll have to think about it.
i also had no idea till i saw these how many small office model document shredders there were on the market. egads! too many choices!

Also, why are shredders so expensive? They aren't really complicated.
